Chocolate Lovers Oatmeal
WARNING: This recipe is extra rich! However, if you love chocolate, you’re going to love this healthy bowl of porridge, and what I call Chocolate Lovers Oatmeal. Simply, a health foodies dream come true. This recipe has absolutely NO added sugar, in fact, barely any sugar at all. Try this recipe out! Be a babe & tell a babe!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of Oatmeal (I useĀ Trader Joes Gluten Free Oats)
- 1 Tablespoon of Cacao Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Protein Powder (I use Pescience snickerdoodle flavor found here)
- Raw Almond Butter (No Salt)
- Pumpkin Spice
- Cinnamon
- Himalayan Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Add 1/2 cup of oatmeal & 1 1/4 cups of water to medium sized pot
- Set pot on stove and set to medium heat
- Don’t stir oatmeal until water is boiling to get that creamy consistency
- Add cinnamon and pumpkin spice
- Stir periodically until oatmeal is creamy
- Turn stove off
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of cacao powder and 1 tablespoon of protein
- Poor the Chocolate Lovers Oatmeal in a bowl and top it off with an almond butter drizzle
- Important: Sprinkle some Himalayan sea salt on top!
