YOUR PUPPY!
Never treat your crate as a time out zone. Your puppy needs to feel safe and comfortable in the crate. So do not punish your puppy by throwing puppy in crate.
The crate is your puppy's "happy place". When training, don't yell at puppy for crying in crate or barking crate. Instead, lay down next to crate and soothe puppy to sleep with sweet sounds and puppy rubs!
To help your puppy warm up to their crate, hide treats in crate and say "good puppy!"
To help ease puppies anxiety in crate, feed puppy food in crate.
Fill crate with a few toys and stuffed animals. This gives puppy something to cuddle with or take puppy's attention from feeling lonely in crate.
This stuffed animal has a heart beat in it which helps comfort puppy and reduce negative behaviors.
