PART TWO
Anytime your puppy goes down for a nap, gently move your puppy back into the crate. Give puppy a gentle pet to ease puppy back to sleep.
Cover the crate with a blanket so crate is nice and dark inside. This will make puppy feel extra protected and less distracted by everything going on outside of crate.
Limit the amount of water only right before bed time. This will help puppy sleep longer.
It's important to make sure the size of your crate is correct for puppy. If crate is too big, puppy will pee or poop in crate in one corner and sleep in the opposite corner.
...while training. That way you can listen to puppy tell you if puppy needs to go out to potty in the middle of the night. This also helps puppy know he's not alone and he is safe.
This stuffed animal has a heart beat in it which helps comfort puppy and reduce negative behaviors.
