I love creating and cooking in the kitchen, but I don’t always have time for it because you know, I’m a girl on the go. My most asked question on Instagram is how do you eat healthy with little time to prep? I absolutely loved this question, because I myself don’t ever have time to prep. It’s rare & I know a lot of you can relate.
As of late, my favorite speedy healthy meal are smoothies. I make them at work. Super easy, quick & convenient. My office provides a blender (thank goodness), but if yours doesn’t, don’t worry. Bring your nutribullet from home or buy a mini blender here. There’s no excuse.
I just pack up my powders, superfoods, greens, and fruit in a baggie & sprint out the door. Throw it all in a blender at lunch & done. There’s barely a mess.
Here is one of my favorite smoothie recipes. It’s full of superfoods, nutrients, veggies and protein.
- 8 oz of water or unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons of Philosophie Cacao Magic hemp seed protein or 1 1/2 TBS of cacao powder, 1 TBS of cacao nibs, 2 scoops of Vital Protein Collagen Peptides
- 1 Blender Bomb or 1 date
- 1 banana
- Optional: Handful of spinach
